Disney World - Summer 2015

A few weeks ago we flew down to Orlando to spend a few days at Disney World with our friends the Brodersens from Switzerland.  It was fun to get together.  We hadn't seen them since we moved away so it was nice to spend a few days together at Disney and catch up.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park

This past weekend we drove up north to the upper peninsula to go camping at Tahquamenon Falls State Park.  We also took our new kayaks with us and we got to paddle up and down the Tahquamenon River.  The best part was our campsite…number 133.  The views were amazing.  It was a great setting.  We wished we had an extra day to stay.

Swim Team

The kids participated in their first swim team this summer.  They went to swim practice every day for about 2 weeks and went to a few swim meets.  At the start they weren't too sure what to expect, but once they got going they really enjoyed it.  At the end their swim team won first place.  They thought that was pretty cool.
