Disney World - Day 1: Magic Kingdom

Here's some photos from our first day at Disney World. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, which is one of the Disney resorts. It's made to look like a classic lodge at a national park out west. It was really nice, and very cool. We had adjoining rooms with Jenny's mom (Nana), so Ben got to sleep in her room.
As expected we chose the Magic Kingdom as our first stop. We rode all of our traditional favorites, like Space Mountain, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Thunder Mountain. We also managed to get both Ben and Megan to ride Haunted Mansion. In fact, Ben loved it so much that he rode it 3 times in a row. I was pretty surprised.
Megan got to meet Princess Tiana from "The Princess And The Frog," and she even got to personally decorate a Christmas Tree in the Christmas store. She obviously had been to Disney World last year, but it just felt like this was her real trip because she was able to take everything in and understand it all.
We took a break in the afternoon and did some swimming back at the hotel. Then we later returned to the park to ride some more rides and watch the fireworks. It was a great first day.
