Camping at Hartwick Pines State Park - Day 1

This weekend we celebrated Father's Day with a camping trip up north to Hartwick Pines State Park. We camped there with Ben's close friend Kelvyn and his family. We had a great time and the weather was nearly perfect all weekend. On Day 1 we arrived and made camp, and then afterward the kids all had time to ride their bikes and play at the playground before dinner. Then for desert we of course made our favorite - Smores!
For the most part it was a good first day, though we did have an issue with our inflatable mattress...uh, it didn't stay inflated. Plus, for some reason Megan had a stomach ache in the middle of the night and threw up in the tent. So other than that it was a good first day.
