Frozen On Ice

A few weeks ago Megan got a real treat.  We went down to Detroit to watch "Frozen On Ice."  Megan was in heaven.  All the characters were there singing all her favorite songs.  She loved it.

Butterflies In Bloom

"Butterflies In Bloom" is going on now at Dow Gardens.  The kids haven't done this since 2011, so they had a blast doing it again.  Every year the nursery at Dow Gardens hatches and releases various breeds of butterflies.  It's always popular with the kids.

Detroit Pistons

A few weeks ago we got to go to a Detroit Pistons game.  It was Ben's prize for being the "top popper" in his Cub Scout troop.  We got to watch the pre game warmups, we got free tickets to the game, and Ben even got his name up on the video board.  He had a blast. 

Life At Random

Over the past month or so the kids have been busy.  Last month the 4 of us went to Saginaw to watch the Harlem Globetrotters.  The kids didn't know what to expect, but they ended up loving it.  In other news, Ben ended up breaking his wrist.  He was taking snowboard lessons up north at Snow Snake.  On one run down he fell awkwardly on his wrist and ended up cracking it.  It was only a minor break and the cast only lasted a month.  Other than that the kids have been busy at school with various activities, including "Safety Patrol" for Ben.  We also visited a new aquarium down in Detroit.  Ben got chosen to be on the   Lastly, Megan gave us a great demonstration of all her moves at gymnastics class.
