The Cheetahs
This spring Megan played another season of soccer. Her team was "The Cheetahs" and she got to play with all of her friends from school. Once again I volunteered to be an assistant coach so we got to share the season together. This was my 9th season either coaching or assistant coaching my kids. Here's some of the highlights from the season.
Graduation Day
A few weeks ago Ben graduated 5th grade. Jenny and I can't believe our little guy is going to be in middle school next year. Time goes by so fast when you're raising kids. Here's some scenes from Ben's big day.

Midland Lacrosse
Ben tried a new sport recently. Back in March the local area lacrosse club stopped by his school and they gave the students an orientation on the game. Ben was instantly interested and wanted to give it a try, so we signed him up for the spring season. It was an education for all of us. Neither Jenny nor I knew anything about lacrosse, so we all had to familiarize ourselves with the sport. Also, we discovered the lacrosse club travels around lower Michigan for all of their games on the weekends, so spent our Saturdays driving down to Detroit, Lansing, the Flint area, etc. So it turned out to be a major commitment. However, in the end Ben really enjoyed playing and he's saying he wants to do it again next year. Here's some pictures from the 3 month season.
