Chicago in October

We recently had a three day weekend so we decided to take a quick getaway to Chicago.  One of the things Jenny and I have been meaning to do is do the architecture boat tour, so we finally did that.  We went to a few of the museums, Ben went up to the top of the Hancock tower again, and Megan got to visit the American Girl Place.  We also did some shopping and ate some great food.

Mackinac Island

On labor day weekend we went up north and stayed on Mackinac Island for the weekend.  We took our bikes with us and biked around the island.

Estes Park, Colorado

Our big trip this past summer was spending a week in Estes Park, Colorado with Jenny's Dad and Stepmom, and Jenny's brother and his family.  We did a lot of hiking, a little bit of rock climbing, some horseback riding, and even some whitewater rafting.  It was great to reconnect with Colorado after several years.
