A New Addition To The Family

Allow me to introduce the newest member of the family - Pepper.  We adopted this lab puppy through a puppy rescue organization down in Detroit.  Her and her litter mates, along with her mother, all came from a shelter in rural Kentucky, where we learned they were about a week away from "the final solution."  The kids love having a dog again, and they're working hard to help me take care of her and train her.  She was 8 weeks when we first got her, so she was really young, but she had a nice demeanor, and seemed very trainable.  She loves to cuddle, and she seems to love both people and other dogs.
