This year for the holidays we took a great trip to Iceland. We flew into Reykjavik and then worked our way eastward along the southern coast. We lucked out on the weather. It was cold and similar to Michigan, but we didn't see a lot of snow like we expected. We saw lots of waterfalls and thermal pools, lots of volcanoes, and we even hiked on a glacier with crampons. For Christmas eve and Christmas day we spent a few days at a cottage and got to know the local dogs and horses. The country was really interesting and very friendly. We'd love to go back sometime.
"Law Rock." Where the Viking tribes used to hold a parliament every year.
