Finally...it's beginning to look a lot like...

Last night we FINALLY got our first significant snowfall of the season. Up til now we've had some occasional "dustings" but nothing more than that. So the kids were pretty excited this morning when we got about 5 inches of new snow today. It's the kind of thick snow that blankets the trees, so it's pretty spectacular. We got our Christmas tree last night, so the timing is perfect. Of course this also means "snow blowing season" has officially begun for me. As you can see it's a messy job...(my hat is supposed to be dark grey.)
