The Rocketeer

This coming Tuesday is the "Space Derby" for Cub Scouts. The "Space Derby" is kind of like the "Pinewood Derby," only boys make little rockets made out of wood. The rockets are assembled with a rubber band propeller in the front, which will pull the rocket along a fishing line when you wind it up. It's a pretty cool project. Anyway, Ben and I spent part of this weekend building his "Spider-Man Rocket." Then I made a "Space Shuttle Rocket" for Megan so she could fly something as well. We'll see how we do this Tuesday at the races. But no matter what happens Ben simply loves building things like this. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Ben LOVES scouts!
