Well...it's May now and the days are getting nicer, with the weather getting warmer and the sun shining more. Most of the trees are out now, the hills are green, and the wildflowers are plentiful. This is when Switzerland is gorgeous to look at, and we're getting out and enjoying it with walks and hikes. Also, we got our table for our dinner patio (and a new grill,) so we can now eat outside finally.
Anyway, we're trying to enjoy our new surroundings as much as possible. Ben is finishing out his sports at school (soccer and martial arts,) Megan has had a few playdates now with her friend "Claudia" who is from Spain. We also found another "bouncy play place" recently, which the kids loved of course. We also made another trip to Konstanz, Germany so Jenny could do some "Mother's Day shopping." Things are very expensive in Switzerland, so once in a while we like to go to Germany where everything is more reasonably priced. While she browsed the stores I took the kids next door to a "Sea Life" aquarium which was fun. We still find it weird to say "hey...want to go to Germany and do some shopping?"
In June we're planning on going back to Michigan for a few weeks once the kids get out of school. Then we'll be back here in July to enjoy the rest of the summer.
