This past weekend we took my parents to Luzern, which is about an hour from our house. We took a tour of the oldest glass factory in Switzerland..."Glasi Hergiswil" in Hergiswil. We toured the factory, checked out the exhibits, bought some souvenirs, and the kids even got to blow their own glass souvenirs. The kids favorite part was walking through the "Glass Labyrinth," which is a maze-of-mirrors kind of thing.
Later on, we drove over to Luzern and showed my parents the old town and the "Chapel Bridge." We walked around town and later on had some "Alpermagaronen" for dinner, which is a Swiss dish with noodles, cheese, and potatoes. My parents had a fun time taking in the sights.
