Madrid, Spain - Day 2

On our second day we took a stroll through the Parque de Madrid.  We've had a lot of snow and grey skies in Switzerland lately, so it was nice to enjoy the sunshine.  We made our way to the train station where we boarded a train and traveled south to the village of Toledo.  Pronounced "toe-lay-doe," Toledo was once the capital of Spain long ago.  Nowadays it's a quaint village full of old-Spain atmosphere.  We made our way through the maze of narrow streets and alleyways and explored the village.  We toured inside the "Cathedral," which is the massive church in the center of town.  The church is lavishly decorated inside with sculptures and decorations.  We then explored the rest of the village, ate some "tapas," enjoyed some "sangria," and Megan got herself an authentic "flamenco dress."  Great day in Toledo.
