Italy's North Coast - Day 4

On our last day of the trip we headed home.  The drive back was brutal.  What would have normally taken about 6 hours ended up taking over 10.  The reason why is there are only two main highways connecting Italy to Switzerland and the rest of northern Europe.  So as a result, every Sunday the highways get packed bumper to bumper with cars headed back north into Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Czechoslovakia, etc.  It took us forever to get back home.  Next time we go to Italy we're going to definitely look into taking the train.  Ugh!  But all in all we had a great time.  We definitely enjoy going to Italy.  The sun, the food, the atmosphere.  It's all great.
