One Last Summer Bash

This past weekend we took the kids down to Detroit for a trip to the Detroit Zoo. Occasionally we like to get out of Midland and reconnect with the big city (sometimes we get a little claustrophobic in this little town of ours.) The kids had fun seeing all the animals at the zoo, and we got to eat at some nicer restaurants than where we normally eat at. Anyway, the kids go back to school tomorrow, so it was good to do one last quick trip before the summer is over.
