More Ski Lessons

This morning I took the kids back to Hoch-Ybrig for more ski lessons. This is the same place they had their first lessons last weekend. Megan took part in a kiddie ski-school, and she worked on her "pizza slices" (or snow plowing for stopping.) She still has a ways to go before she can move on to a slightly larger hill but she's having fun and enjoying herself. Best of all she seems genuinely interested in trying. As for Ben he's really taking to skiing. Last weekend was his very first time, and then today he was already skiing down the 3rd level hill with his instructor. He's been doing great with his turning and snow plowing, and his balance has really improved. Both of the kids are doing great. Hoch-Ybrig is just a simple ski run. It's not as built up as the ski resorts in the states. But on the other hand it's got some nice runs and it's very affordable. It's perfect for us. A quick 30 minute drive into the mountains and we're there. So we're going to try to give the kids, and us...lots of practice time over the next few months.
