Ski Lessons

This morning the kids learned how to ski. We drove up into the mountains to Hoch-Ybrig, which is a ski area about 30 minutes from our house. We signed the kids up for private lessons with an English speaking instructor, and for about 2 hours they learned the basics. They did great for their first time. It was about 5 degrees fahrenheit, so it was chilly. But the kids had fun of course. We were there with our friends the McGaughs. All the kids had a fun time.
Never in a million years would I have guessed my kids' first ski experience would be in the Alps.
