Elm, Switzerland

A few weekends ago Jenny got to go to the "Paralympics" in London for her work, so it was just me and the kids for a few days.  The three of us joined our friends the McGaughs for some mountain fun at a small mountain village called Elm.  Elm is about an hour directly south of us, and its nestled in a quiet mountain valley.  We were there to check out a mountain park with some fun activities for the kids.  Of course there's the usual swings and trampolines and things, but they also have a "panning for gold" area and pedal cars.  We spent most of our time riding "mountain scooters" down the mountain along a dirt trail.  You ride it like a regular scooter, only these scooters have big knobby tires and disc brakes.  So we just coasted down the mountain and took in all the scenery.  Megan stood with me on my scooter and Ben rode down on his own.  Just another adventure in Switzerland.  It was a lot of fun, and something totally different.
