It's A Party!

Last night we had our Halloween Party. We invited our close friends, and all of our new friends from the soccer team. I would say all in all we had about 40 people...20 kids and 20 adults. We were surprised to find out that all but 3 people on our invitation list ended up showing up. Everyone had a fun time. We got pumpkins for all of the kids and then hid them in our front flower bed around the decorations. So all the kids got to go outside and pick out a pumpkin, and then bring it inside to decorate. We made Halloween desserts, ordered some pizza, and had lots of goodies and treat bags for everyone. Surprisingly it was warm enough for everyone to eat and play outside in the backyard...which all the kids especially liked.
Afterwards I read some Halloween stories for some of the kids and then we had a costume contest for everyone. It was a fun time.
As you can see from the pictures Ben's costume this year is "Superman," and Megan's costume is "Minnie Mouse." Here are some highlights from the party.
