From The Shelf

THE ODESSA FILE - Written by Frederick Forsyth, THE ODESSA FILE is a fictional story based in fact. The real life Odessa File was the secret Nazi organization formed to help the surviving SS officers and Nazi leaders flee post-war Germany and begin a new life under aliases. The story here follows a reporter named Peter Miller as he infiltrates the secret organization in search of an elusive war criminal named Eduard Roschmann. The story here is a first-rate thriller. Not a lot of action per se, but plenty of intrigue and suspense. I really enjoyed it. This was my first Forsyth novel and I will definitely check out more of his work.
