Ben's Open House

Ben's school had an "Open House" today. It was an opportunity for us parents to go into the classroom and see what the kids have been up to. Ben showed us some of the workstations he likes to work at, and he showed us some projects he's done on the iPad and computer. One thing he showed us was a National Geographic magazine cover he designed (the picture of the Piranha.) He also showed us a short video he made about Komodo Dragons (below). Ben's class has an interesting mix of children from all over the world. There are boys and girls from countries like France, England, Brazil, Sweden, Spain, Italy, India, etc. I think it's a great experience for him to be exposed to children from all nationalities. Ben has done a great job of quickly adjusting to his new school and surroundings. We're very proud of him...(even if he does forget how to spell "English.")
