Lake Zurich

Since we moved here we've taken several trips to downtown and we have gotten to know the city pretty well. But up until now the weather has been too cold to do anything on the lake. However, today was an exception. Today the sun was shining and the temperature was in the high 50's, so we decided to go to downtown and take a boat ride out on Lake Zurich. There are several boats and ferries that criss cross the lake. Some are used for sightseeing, and some are used to bus cars from one side to the other. Anyway, we took a short cruise out on the lake and then circled back to downtown. From there we walked around a bit, stopped in some stores, and had dinner at a "Swiss Bavarian" style restaurant called "Zeughauskeller." Anyway, we really enjoy going into town and exploring the city. We're discovering there's tons to do around here, and we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.
