Barcelona, Spain - Day 3

On Sunday, we rented a car and drove northwest to Montserrat, which is the site of the historic monastery that sits at the top of a mountain.  We walked around the grounds for a bit.  The scenery is gorgeous.  The monastery is nice, but I was expecting it to be a little older.  Still though the whole scene is impressive.  The kids also lit some candles for our dog Glacier, and my Grandmother who passed away last year.

After we left the monastery we drove north toward the "Costa Brava," which is the northeast coast of Spain.  There we had reserved a camping trailer at a campground for 2 days.  We were near the villages of "Begur," and "Torroella de Montgri," which are near the border with France.  The kids had fun playing on the beach and swimming in the ocean.
