Barcelona, Spain - Day 9

Saturday morning we pulled into Barcelona and disembarked.  The kids had a great time and they didn't want to get off the boat.  Okay, all 4 of us didn't want to get off the boat.  It was nice being on a ship that was like a "little America" right in the middle of Europe.  If you can't go home it's nice when home can come to you.  So we got off the boat and spent a little more time downtown before we headed to the airport.  One of the things we saw was a statue honoring Christopher Columbus.  If you look at the photos before you'll see Columbus is pointing.  The artist intended for him to be pointing towards America.  However, when the statue was finally built they put Columbus facing the wrong direction.  So to this day he points toward Africa.  Anyway, we took the kids to the Barcelona aquarium for a few hours and then we headed to the airport.
