Right before the kids went back to school we spent a hot afternoon out on the lake. The marina in our village rents out paddle boats and it's been on our "to do" list to take one out and splash around. Anyway, it was so fun we did it again the next day. Also, the kids built some wooden sailboats which they took out on the lake and floated around. Ben's boat was "The Compass," and Megan's was "The Dream."
