Ziplining at Atzmanig

Last year we got our first introduction to "ziplining" at a mountain park called Atzmanig.  For those of you who don't know ziplining is where you're attached to a cable and you zip from tree to tree via a steel cable.  In addition to zipping around through the trees you typically also navigate obstacles high in the treetops...while being permanently attached to the cables at all times.  This kind of stuff may look dangerous, but it's actually very safe.  They make it quite dummy proof, so that chances of falling off are very slim.

Last weekend we decided to pay another visit to Atzmanig for some more ziplining.  This time Megan wanted to try it, so it was her first time.  She did great.  Out of all of us Ben has been ziplining the most.  He's a pro's pro at it and he absolutely loves it.  Things like this are great for kids.  It really gives them confidence and thrills.  And for adults it's great as well.  It really takes you back to when you were a kid and the thrill you got from climbing a tree.  Here's some of what we did.
