Lake Irene

Later in the afternoon Jenny and I took the kids over to the west side of the park for an afternoon drive. We stopped at an area we had never visited before...Lake Irene. The lake is very small, and offers a short nature trail around it, which we thought the kids would enjoy. We first stopped for a quick picnic and then took the kids down by the lake. It was a nice surprise. The lake is really pretty and very picturesque. So glad we stopped.
