Mills Lake

Later in the day on Saturday Mat and Beth babysat for the kids and Jenny and I took a "date hike" up to Mills Lake...an old favorite of ours. Mills Lake is one of the most gorgeous lakes in the entire park. The lake is quiet and peaceful, and the backdrop is all snow-capped peaks. It's an absolutely stunning setting. We packed a sack dinner and hiked to the lake just in time for sunset. Other than two other people we were the only ones there. It was wonderfully quiet and relaxing.
