Great Wolf Lodge

This past weekend we surprised the kids with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. For those of you who don't know what GWL is, it's a hotel and indoor water park...all in one. There are several locations around the country, and the one near us is up north in Traverse City (about 2 hours away.) It's always a fun trip for us. It's a great getaway trip...especially during the winter, and the kids always have a blast. The kids got to splash around and go down the water slides, and we also played a fantasy interactive game called "MagiQuest" which Ben played with a magical wand. It was a fun weekend. Megan did a good job going down the water slides by herself, and Ben did a great job going down the bigger slides. I even managed to get Ben underneath the giant bucket that pours water on everybody. One of the highlights for the kids was sleeping in bunk beds in a "tent room." They thought that was pretty cool.
