Snow Day

On Wednesday we had our first official snowstorm of the season. We only got about 2 to 3 inches of snow, but it was enough to close the schools. So Ben got a snow day and didn't have to go to school. So we spent some time in the morning playing in the snow. The kids made some snow angels, we all threw snowballs, and we even made a snowman (see above entry). This is the time of year when kids get all excited about the snow. Ben woke up this morning and saw the snow and got all excited. He would have gone outside in his pajamas if we had let him. But then in a few months the kids will get sick of the snow and not want to go outside at all...so they might as well enjoy it now.
