The Tornadoes - Game 6

Today was game number 6 for Ben's soccer team and we were the "white" team. It was a brutal day weather wise. All day we had wind gusts up to 30 mph, and the temperatures were very chilly. As you can see from the pictures everyone was wearing their hats and gloves. Yet despite the inclement weather the boys played a great game. Ben had a great scoring chance. A friend of his passed the ball his way right in front of the opponent's goal. Ben had a great shot at the ball but he couldn't catch up to it in time. Anyway, the game ended in a 1-1 tie, and at this age you take a tie as a victory. This team continues to improve and get better from week to week. The other coaches and I are all very proud of this group. Only 2 more weeks and then it's all over.
