Tonight we took the kids and my parents down to Flint to Crossroads Village, an old-fashioned village where you're surrounded by old buildings and houses, and people dressed in 1900's fashions. Every year in October they turn the whole village to a "Halloween town." All the kids (and adults) get to walk around the various buildings and go trick-or-treating. Ben and Megan had a great time dressing up in their costumes and getting free candy, and the weather was a perfect fall day. Even my parents got in on the action. Halloween is in the air around here...and as usual we're loving it.
