Today is what we call "Pumpkin Day," where we take the kids to a nearby farm and pick out our pumpkins for Halloween. This time we went to LeCronier's, which is a farm about 10 minutes out of town. We all took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins, and then the kids played around the farm, rode some ponies, petted some animals, and even did a corn maze. The kids had a blast, and my parents had a fun time too. The kids (and my dad) even befriended one of the barn cats. The weather both yesterday and today was absolutely perfect. Clear sunny skies and low 70's. Mix that with gorgeous fall color and you can see why fall is so much fun up here.
