A Hiking We Will Go!

Yesterday we all took a short day hike at the nature center. We saw some turtles and frogs in the pond, saw lots of woods and the river, and we came upon a good sized snake crawling along in front of us. The was Megan's first official hike, and her first trip in the backpack carrier. She wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but she relaxed a little and eventually enjoyed herself. In a few weeks we're going up north for a few days at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, so we wanted to get Megan used to hiking in the carrier.
