On the way south from Taos we stopped for lunch at a place called "Rancho de Chimayo." It's one of those places where all the locals go, and all the tourists pass by unless they know it's there. Thanks to Jenny and her magic New Mexico book we were able to discover this great place. The restaurant is in an old house, and we were lucky to sit out on the patio and enjoy some of the best New Mexican food we had on our entire trip. Enchiladas, fajitas, and best of all....sopapillas.
After lunch we continued south to Santa Fe, and eventually on down to Albuquerque. We took in some more great western scenery along the way.
