The Strikers - Game 2

Yesterday was our second soccer game of the season. The kids played great. The opposing team had 2 or 3 really skilled players, so a lot of times our boys were playing defense instead of threatening to score. But still we kept the game close, and everyone played hard and gave a good effort. I was very proud of the boys. Yesterday was also picture day for the team and the players. After the game Jenny surprised us with cupcakes topped with mini-soccer balls in honor of my birthday, and then all the boys sang me happy birthday. It was cool.
