"Monkey Buddy" and "Explorer Girl"

Megan has this thing right now with nicknames. She constantly calls all of us nicknames she herself comes up with....and almost all of them are either in reference to "Wonder Pets," "Backyardigans," or "Dora." Lately she's called me "Amigo," "Big Boy," and "Ming Ming" (a character from "Wonder Pets.") Recently Megan and I were reading a "Dora" book about Dora and her friend Boots (who is a monkey) helping a truck. In the story Dora talks on a CB and uses the call sign "Explorer Girl and Monkey Buddy." Ever since then she likes to refer to herself as "Explorer Girl," and Ben is "Monkey Buddy." Now while that may seem cute, Ben is not too keen on being called "Monkey Buddy." But actually the names are quite fitting. Megan loves to explore and is very head strong, and Ben...well...he explores and climbs trees, and he even mastered the monkey bars this week. Yeah, the names fit I think.
