Raingutter Regatta

Tonight was the "Raingutter Regatta" for Ben's cub scouts troop. A while ago I wrote about Ben and I building his sailboat for the regatta. So tonight he finally got to race it. Each boy got to race their boat down a raingutter filled with water (blowing the sail with a straw.) Ben had a blast and he won a few races. He was so proud of himself. As for me, I was just scared to death the boat would sink once he put it in the water. HA! So you can imagine how relieved I was to see it sail so well. Anyway, Ben and his friends all got ribbons for their boats. It was a fun time.
