Up in the U.P. - Day 4 ("GRAND SABLE DUNES")

For Day 4 we drove over to the eastern side of the park and hiked the Grand Sable Dunes trail. This was around a mile roundtrip, so again it was great for Ben. We hiked through some dense pine forest, then reached a grassy meadow, then stepped over a nice little creek, and eventually reached some sandy dunes that overlooked Lake Superior. It was a nice hike.
