Alaska! - Day 3

On day 3 we hiked up to the top of Mt. Margaret, which is a peak on the east end of the park. The weather was a little crisp but pleasant, and despite looking like rain it stayed dry the whole time. We came just shy of the peak, and due to the weather and time constraints we decided to call it good. On a clear day you can see Mt. McKinley, but the clouds didn't cooperate on this day. Still though the views were amazing, and the climb was a good workout. In the evening Mike and I signed up for a white water rafting trip down the Nenana River. We had to wear dry suits to avoid getting frozen by the glacial rapids (class 3.) It was a blast.
