Alaska totally blew me away. I was literally taken back by its size and grandness. It was interesting seeing both the interior (in Denali) and the coastline (in Seward.) Despite being in the same state it was like being in two different worlds. What I also didn't expect was all the "retired age" tourists. They were everywhere, and we kept running into them. We would meet them on an excursion in Denali, and then see the same 2 people on a boat cruise in Seward. It was kind of funny, but yet it made me feel old. HA! I was starting to feel like I was part of the same tour group. But anyway, we had a great time, and I can't wait to go again with Jenny and the kids (whenever that day comes.)
