Alaska! - Day 6

Friday was our last full day of the trip. We took the bus to town to catch a tour boat that would take us out on Resurrection Bay, for a "scenic tour" of Kenai Fjords National Park. The day was rainy, and at times the seas got rough, but despite all that the trip was pretty rewarding. We saw sea lions, sea otters, bald eagles, and even some humpback whales. After we returned to our hotel we drove into the park and hiked up to Exit Glacier. We got a steady dose of rain throughout the hike, but despite all that the trek was pretty awesome. How often do you get a chance to get up close to a giant glacier?
